Neurological Consultants participates with most of the insurance carriers in the area, in addition to accepting Medicare assignment. On your behalf, we will submit your claim to any one of the following insurance carriers:
If you have an insurance carrier who is not listed here, we will request payment at the time services are rendered, and will then complete any necessary paperwork for you to file subsequent to your visit.
We ask that, at the time of your visit, you be prepared to cover any co-payment you are responsible for -- either for your private insurance or for Medicare. Our patient advocate will assist you with questions you may have regarding fees, billing procedures, or payment policies.
Most managed care programs require that you be referred by your primary care physican or that you be pre-certified by the HMO before you can be seen by one of our physicians. It is your responsibility to obtain this referral and/or preauthorization prior to your visit. Without such approval, we may need to reschedule your appointment.
Please understand that our primary consern is your health and well-being. If you have having difficulty covering any portion of your bill, please speak with our patient advocate to that we may work out a payment plan that addresses your particular needs.
