Clinical Staff

In addition to our neurologists and neuropsychologist, our team includes registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, a social worker, medical technicians, research assistants, and administrative support staff. Each member of our group is sensitive to the special concerns of our geriatric population, and is respectful of patients' dignity and need for privacy.


KEITH R. EDWARDS, M.D.
Dr. Keith Edwards
Dr. Edwards graduated from Williams College with honors in 1969, and from Duke University Medical School in 1973. He completed his internship at Boston City Hospital and his residency in Neurology at the University of Vermont College of Medicine. He has been in practice in Bennington since 1978. Dr. Edwards has been board certified in Neurology since 1979.

A founder of the New England Pain Association, Dr. Edwards has published numerous articles in this field and has spoken before many professional associations. His clinical research in stroke management has also been widely recognized.

Dr. Edwards has been engaged in research related to memory problems since 1975 when he published several articles about the cognitive difficulties experienced by certain patients with multiple sclerosis. He has since developed a strong and continuing interest in the care of persons with Alzheimer's Disease, and has spoken before national and international audiences on this topic.

Given the breadth of his experience, Dr. Edwards has served as a consultant in the design of clinical trials in dementia, Alzheimer's Disease, pain, epilepsy, Parkinson's Disease, and stroke.


MICHAEL J. GLANTZ, M.D.
Dr. Michael Glantz
Dr. Glantz graduated magna cum laude from Brown University in 1980 with a degree in Classics, and from Brown Medical School in 1984. He completed his residency in Neurology at University Hospital SUNY at Stonybrook in 1988, and went on to a two year fellowship in Neuro-Oncology at Duke University Medical Center. From 1991 to 1995, he served as Chief of Neurology at Memorial Hospital, associated with Brown University. He is currently Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Massachusetts.

In 1997, Dr. Glantz returned to school to earn his Master's in Public Health from the University of Massachusetts. He currently serves as a consultant for the design of clinical trials in neuro-oncology sponsored by the National Institutes of Health. He is active with the American Society of Clinical Oncology and in the Neuro-Oncology and Critical Care sections of the American Academy of Neurology.

Dr. Glantz joined Neurological Consultants in 1998, where he has been seeing patients with a broad range of neurological concerns. He has published numerous papers and has been involved in several clinical trials related to the treatment of brain cancer.


PRAMOD P. SETHI, M.D.
Dr. Pramod Sethi
Medical training at Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Medical College, University of Pune in India; internship in Internal Medicine at LaGuardia Hospital, NY; residency in Neurology at the University Hospitals of Cleveland/ Case Western Reserve University. Two year fellowship in Cerebrovascular Diseases and Intensive Care Neurology at the University of Alabama, Birmingham.

Board certified in Neurology; and in Neurological Imaging. Special expertise in stroke research, other aspects of vasular disease, and neurological imaging. Director of the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center Stroke Program.


MICHAEL D. DREYER, M.D.
Dr. Michael Dreyer

Medical school at University of Cape Town, South Africa; residency in Internal Medicine at Cambridge University and Addenbrookes Hospital in England; his residency in Neurology at Harvard University, Logwood Neurological Training Program.

Board certified in Neurology; fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Neuromuscular Disease. Special intersest and expertise in diagnosis and teatment of nerve and muscle problems, and pediatric neurology disoders.


WILLIAM A. GOODMAN, PSY.D.
Dr. William Goodman
Dr. Goodman graduated magna cum laude from the University of Massachusetts in 1978 with a B.A. from the Honors Program in Psychology. He then completed both his pre-doctoral internship and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology through the Virginia Consortium Program in Clinical Psychology, earning his Psy.D. in 1987.

Since 1989, Dr. Goodman has been in private practice, providing individual, couples, and family therapy, psychological testing, and consultation services.

As a neuropsychologist who specializes in the assessment and treatment of dementia, including Alzheimer's Disease, Dr. Goodman has extensive experience with and sensitivity to the special needs of patients and families who are dealing with memory loss and its associated complications. He is also familiar with the relationship between many other medical and psychological conditions, and is available to consult with patients, their families, and their caregivers.
